“Honestly Noah, it’ll never happen”

How to get the best out of volunteers (while preparing them for the worst)

Does your job involve working with volunteers? Whether you have worked with volunteers for 1 week or 20 years this forum is designed especially for you!

With numbers kept deliberately small to facilitate an interactive afternoon, this seminar will be led by two experienced festival professionals: Zoe Seenan, Festival Manager, Newbury Spring Festival and Mary Hamilton, Director, The Company Presents. Using their extensive practical experience Zoe and Mary will lead an afternoon of session and debate that will focus on the sharing of best practise and problem solving in an creative environment.

Bring your own issues and find solutions - showcase your top tips with other festival practitioners who deal the very same.

Leave with more than you thought, more than you brought!

BAFA

BAFA membership brings access to a large and thriving network of UK festivals. We organise an annual conference each autumn and a road show in the spring, which provide an opportunity for members to meet, share ideas and talk about issues of common concern.
